If you look like you have it together but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or not quite like yourself since becoming a mom, this is the work I do.

I specialize in postpartum anxiety, high-functioning anxiety, and matrescence, the identity shift of new motherhood almost no one warns you about.  Most of the moms I work with aren’t in crisis.  They’re just tired of feeling anxious, on edge, or like the person they used to be is somewhere they can’t quite reach.

High-functioning anxiety is easy to miss because it doesn’t look like struggling.  It looks like competence.  In our sessions, we’ll work on what’s actually underneath it, not just how to manage it better.

Becoming a mother changes you physically, emotionally, and psychologically, a shift called matrescence.  Most women are never told this is happening, so it feels like something is wrong with them instead of a real transition. We’ll work on rebuilding an identity that includes who you were before becoming a mother.

I use approaches like Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychoeducation, but sessions look like a real conversation, not a worksheet.

You don’t have to hit a breaking point to get support.
